Another great programme of training and demonstration events has been put together by Flora locale for 2009. This page also includes information about events in Wales being organised by other organisations, where we are aware of them. The full programme of Flora locale's events across Britain is provided on the Flora locale website, where we also have links to the events programmes of other organisations. Booking is essential (2 weeks ahead). Events in Wales are free to attend.
Butterfly Conservation also organises many events throughout the UK, to identify and monitor butterflies of wild flower grasslands and other habitats. Go to the BC website to find out what events are being held in your area as we have not listed them here.
Most Local Wildlife Trusts also organise open days to their nature reserves. Check out the Wildlife Trusts website to find out what is going on in your area - or join your Local Wildlife Trust and receive their members events programme regularly.
