Sell or buy meadows
Sellers
Wild meadows are most threatened when they change hands. If you own a Wild Meadow please consider what you can do to ensure that the new owners understand its value and how it needs to be maintained.
Consider:
- preparing a brief illustrated report about it, and the ongoing management needs
- approaching a conservation body, which might be interested in buying it or assisting the new owners with advice over its future management
- advertising your sale in magazines read by people who are interested in wildlife and countryside conservation - such as Permaculture, Smallholder or Country Smallholding.
- Ensuring that the sale particulars emphasise the value added to the property related to the wild meadow.
- Let Flora locale know about the sale, and we will include basic details on this or a linked web-page.
- Joining the Grazing Animals Project 'nibblers' forum and sending an email to members of this discussion group, who may know of people interested in buying.
Buyers If you are interested in buying a wild meadow, please let us know and we will include contact details on this web page.
